Help Children

Smile Train Website

Unlike many charities that do many different things, The Smile Train mission is focused on solving a single problem: cleft lip and palate.

Clefts are a major problem in developing countries where there are millions of children who are suffering with unrepaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly. Aren’t allowed to attend school or hold a job. And face very difficult lives filled with shame and isolation, pain and heartache.

The good news is every single child with a cleft can be helped with surgery that costs as little as $250 and takes as little as 45 minutes.
This is our mission:
-To provide free cleft surgery for millions of poor children in developing countries.
-To provide free cleft-related training for doctors and medical professionals.

Until there are no more children who need help and we have completely eradicated the problem of clefts.

Ronald McDonald House Website

We know that families are stronger when they are together, and their presence helps a sick child heal faster and cope better.

While Ronald McDonald House Charities cannot make medicine taste better or take away painful treatments, we can help lessen the burden and ensure more than 4 million families a year have the stability and resources they need to keep their child healthy and happy.

For more than 35 years, our approach has been to think globally but act locally by tailoring our programs to address the most urgent needs of each community we serve.

World Vision Website

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

March of Dimes Website

We help moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies.

In local communities across the country, we’re helping moms take charge of their health, and supporting families when something goes wrong. The March of Dimes also acts globally: sharing best practices in perinatal health and helping improve birth outcomes where the needs are the most urgent.

Feed the Children Website

Feed The Children is a Christian, international, nonprofit relief organization with headquarters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty, or natural disaster.

Compassion International Website

Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.

Founded by the Rev. Everett Swanson in 1952, Compassion began providing Korean War orphans with food, shelter, education and health care, as well as Christian training.

Clear Cause Foundation

ClearCause™ Foundation is dedicated to keeping our young people safe, where ever they travel on the globe. Our primary mission is to engage, inform and empower young Americans and their families. Please become active informed participants in decisions affecting safety on global youth travel, foreign exchange and study-abroad programs.

We’re also a force for change in the youth-travel, foreign exchange and study abroad industry. To secure the protections and rights our young people deserve, we work closely with ClearCause™ Coalition engaging legislators and responsible partners.

ClearCause was founded by Allen and Sheryl Hill, parents of Tyler Hill. Tyler was just 16 when he died a preventable death on a student travel trip to Japan in 2007. Since Tyler’s death, the Hills have worked tirelessly to establish the necessary safeguards to keep our children safe abroad. They proposed the Traveling Youth & Student Standards of Safety (TYS SOS). For more information about Tyler Hill and TYS SOS, visit www.tylerhill.org.

ClearCause Foundation is an emerging 501c3 nonprofit foundation sharing its board of directors with ClearCause Coalition, a nonprofit 501c4 public policy organization, working towards effective and realistic steps to advance federally mandated safety, transparency, accountability and integrity within the student travel, foreign exchange and study abroad self-regulated industry. (US student travel alone is estimated at $17 billion WYSE.)

ClearCause is actively engaging young Americans in decisions affecting their safety and rallying support to help keep our young adults and children safe overseas.

ClearCause is dedicated to advancing protections for our young Americans who travel our globe, exchange and study abroad – America’s next generation of world leaders.
