Beware of the psychic with the crystal ball

We’ve all heard of Psychics. And some of us have strong feelings on the validity of those who claim to have psychic abilities. It is good to have a healthy dose of skepticism, but also an open mind. Yes, there are frauds out there pretending to be something they are not in order to take your money. There are frauds everywhere, so being alert and shopping around for a reputable psychic would be recommended.

Usual, it’s a friend of a friend that might make the connection for you based on wonderful readings! This is a good way to find someone. Or you read a lot of good comments or recommendations. Maybe they have developed a following. Or maybe you just get a sincere vibe about them. However you stumble upon this person make sure you feel comfortable with them. Remember, we’re all intuitive! If you don’t feel like something is right, listen to your intuition and leave. If you’ve already handed over the money, ask for it back. A good psychic would be willing to work with you. If the session already ended, they should be willing to work out some kind of negotiation. It’s just a good business practice! However, if you truly feel uncomfortable, I don’t recommend waiting until the end to ask for your money back. Just leave right away.

An authentic psychic who can be trusted will not try to sell or push readings on you. Their interest is not to make money off of you. They are merely trying to make a living while sharing their gifts. A trusted psychic is in the position of wanting to make a living doing what they love. It is a calling to them. For most psychics they have had this ability since childhood and have struggled with accepting their unique gifts. They didn’t ask for them, but coming to terms with the knowledge they are different means using their gifts to help others understand there is a whole other side to life that most of us haven’t awoken to yet. They have a gift. Most trusted psychic make a great living with the guidance of light and love.

On the other hand, a fraud has no real regard for helping others. They may come off as sincere, but there are some tell tale signs you are dealing with a fraud.

Chances are you are dealing with a fraud if:

• The Psychic tried to sell you other services. Remember, a trusted psychic will not try to coerce you into buying anything.
  
• The Psychic tells you he/she can only be paid through a particular means such as wire transfer or credit card, it’s a red flag.
  
• They are watching the minutes and dragging it on, I wouldn’t trust them. They are clearly in it to make a buck. Don’t give them your money.
  
• They say they can change your future, they are lying to you! No one can change your future. It’s your choices that influence your future. No one else!
  
• They tell you that you are cursed and then insist they have the solution, the chances are that it’s going to cost you! A trusted psychic is in it to heal, not get rich. Just stay away. Oh, and realize that you are not cursed!
  
• Tell you that you must come back every week for readings or your life is going to get off track! It’s just a scam artist at work.
  
• They have a crystal ball and it seems more like a circus act or a Hollywood show. In this case, if you’re just looking for entertainment, go for it, but just don’t expect the truth!
  
• They tell you that you need to perform some strange ritual like rub gel all over your body and go for a 6 mile run outside wrapped in cellophane in order to purify yourself. You laugh, but it’s been done! Look it up!
  
• They guarantee results. No psychic can do this and a trusted one will tell you this in open honesty.
  
• The Psychic asks for personal information like social security number or bank information. It’s just a typical scam artist at work.
  

Remember, the goal of all readings should be to enlighten, heal, give and receive messages, authenticate relationships with the other side, and grow in spiritual understanding of the unseen! There are many good psychics out there! Whether they’re a medium, intuitive, or have some other special sensitive type ability, their main goal should be to help you. They are there for you!

Not only should they have a connection to the other side, they also need to have a connection to you. This should be the first connection made. If you don’t feel it, find a psychic who resonates with you, so both of you can have an otherworldly experience to cultivate a spiritual awakening, even if it’s just for fun!
